Astra Apartments & Suites

Located in the sleepy village of Imerovigli, a mile north of Fira Town, this small hotel is set on the highest point of the caldera of Santorini’s ancient volcano, 1,000 feet above the sea. It consists of 22 air-conditioned suites, studios, and apartments with stone floors, whitewashed walls, and traditional domed ceilings. All units have kitchenettes and balconies or terraces overlooking the sea, some with private spa tubs or infinity pools.

Guests in all accommodations receive a bottle of Santorini wine on arrival, daily housekeeping, and complimentary Continental breakfast, served until noon. Suite guests also receive newspapers, bathrobes and slippers, and twice-daily housekeeping.

Other amenities include an outdoor pool, poolside bar, and book exchange/library. Massage services and Internet access are available. There is no hotel restaurant, but guests may order sandwiches, salads, desserts, and beverages from a room service menu from early morning until midnight.
